A Brief History
Arsenal Cleaning Services Ltd. was established in 1982 and incorporated in Ontario on January 26, 1988. Corporate offerings have expanded to include Commercial, Industrial, Municipal and Retail Stores in the GTA.

Although corporate growth has been brisk, we have taken care to be prepared in terms of training personnel, and acquiring the latest technology in equipment and supplies. In this way, we were able to deliver consistently superior results while withstanding considerable expansion of market-share.

For over 20 years our expertise has kept pace with and exceeded our corporate growth. Yet, we still remember our roots in expediting creative solutions for our clients.

Management Profile

Aris Paparafiou
President and General Manager

In the Cleaning Industry since 1982, and founder of Arsenal Cleaning Services Ltd. Aris oversees all Management, Administration and Human Recourses. Aris continues to be active in all aspects of the business, and utilizes his vast experience and knowledge of the cleaning industry, to continue to improve the quality of service, performance, moral and image of the Arsenal team. His ability to assess situations, provide solutions and motivate Arsenal’s management and staff is a true testament to his leadership skills.


George Kandelas
Vice President and Director of Operations

In the Cleaning Industry since 1988, and a partner since 1999, George has a broad knowledge of the cleaning industry and is constantly seeking new products, equipment and methods to improve Arsenal’s quality and productivity. He holds many industry certificates and is knowledgeable with specialty floors and unique environments. He is active in sales and marketing of the company and as well working closely with the Account Managers and Special Services to continually improve quality, consistency and customer service.


Alket Xhaferi
Account Manager and Night Operations

In the Cleaning Industry since 2000, and a partner since 2007, Alket started his cleaning career with Arsenal as a heavy duty cleaner with the Special Services Team. He was a hard worker and a quick learner and within his first year he became Team Leader. Over the last 5 years he has proven to be an expert floor technician and able to produce results that are second to none. He has been instrumental in managing the Special Teams and their valuable role in our organization. In 2007 he became partner focusing on Night Operations and Account Manager.


Jennie Low
Office Manager

Accounting and Administrative experience since 1990, Jennie has been a valuable employee since joining our company in 2004. Through her dedication and thoroughness we have become more streamlined and efficient with invoicing, payables and book keeping. She has also been instrumental in making our office run smoothly and is great at dealing with daily issues that arise in prompt and thorough manner.


Elizabeth Dermizoglou
Account Manager

In the Cleaning Industry since 1988, and an independent cleaning contractor until 1996, when she joined the Arsenal team as a supervisor. Her dedication and skills as a cleaning professional and proficient supervisor lead her to her current position as Account Manager where her skills are utilized with some of our largest clients. Elizabeth is well respected by our clients and has demonstrated her skills to them by being able to efficiently and consistently deliver the quality of service we promise.


Angelo Afentakis
Account Manager

In the Cleaning Industry since 1996, Angelo started his cleaning career with the Arsenal team and is skilled in many aspects of the cleaning industry. His dedication and thoroughness earned him a promotion as a supervisor in 2001. His efficiency and devotion in this role made him a valuable member of our team, where in 2003 he became an Account Manager. Once again he has proven to be a worthy and respected member of our team in this capacity. His capabilities produce results that our clients expect and in so doing he has earned their respect and confidence.

Chris Patellis
Special Services Team Leader

A cleaning professional for more than 30 years, Chris brings with him immeasurable experience providing service in a wide array of environments. Chris joined the Arsenal team in 1997 and transferred to Special Services in 2003. Shortly after he became Team Leader where his vast experience and creativity has been utilized in performing quality work in a productive manner and has always been available to our clients in emergency situation.

Manuel Vinueza
Special Services Team Leader

In the Cleaning Industry since 1997, Manuel started with our company as a heavy duty cleaner working with Special Services. He quickly learned all aspects of hard floor maintenance as well as being an expert carpet cleaner. Manuel became Team Leader in 2001 where he was able to showcase his skills and dedication to our company and clients.
